Holistic Branding with Meghan

When Meghan Pellerin of MLP Therapy reached out for a branding session I was so excited. Meghan's therapy practice centers around helping young adults find their footing, gender affirming care, and supporting neurodivergent clients. Meghan wanted photos that would reflect her personality, priorities, and values.

Meghan and I got to know each other as we prepared for the session over the span of about a week. I brought my pride flags, she brought her favorite books. When I heard about her senior dog Reilly, I almost begged Meghan to bring her along. Reilly definitely stole the show.

Many people might feel like branding photos have to be stiff or impersonal - and while the kind of photos you need depends on your business - the whole point of branding is finding a way to make a human connection. As a therapist, Meghan took this opportunity to show up as wholeheartedly and authentically as she asks her clients to. I was honored to be her witness.

My goal as a photographer is for every client to feel deeply celebrated, whether we are working together on an intimate wedding, or professional branding.

After every session I tell my clients that I'm honored to work with them, and it's true. I take the responsibility of witnessing your truest and favorite selves very seriously. I want to give you photos that will remind you of who you are, how far you've come, and how deeply you matter.

I know you already get twenty million more emails than you want, but here is why you should still subscribe to mine:

  • I only send them when I have something important to share, that you'll want to hear. (like every month, maybe.)

  • As fun as social media can be, it's increasingly difficult to share information and community the more these platforms tamper with the algorithms. Giving me your email means we can't lose touch because of a third party.

  • It makes my entire day when someone signs up to keep tabs on the work I'm doing here.

  • I make every effort for both my business and website to be as accessible as possible. View the statement here.
